The Tri-Cities Opera Scene Shop, located in Binghamton, New York is a 10,000 square foot, fully-equipped facility. The technical staff consists of designers, painters, carpenters and riggers—all trained to the highest level of expertise. Aside from fulfilling your rental needs with out prebuilt productions, our shop staff are fully capable of fulfilling all of your design, wood-working, metal-working, painting and rigging needs. We specialize in making your design visions come to life.
The Tri-Cities Opera Costume Shop, also located at the Clinton Street Opera Center, is virtually a library of costumes spanning every era. This costume repertoire encompasses opera, musical theatre and traditional plays. Measurements are kept on file and alterations are always available upon request. The Costume Shop rents full costume sets, small or specialized plots and individual costumes to suit any need.
What we offer:
The Tri-Cities Opera has full Orchestra Parts for 23 opera’s in good condition for rental. Most of them are Kalmus edition. Prices vary based on parts, length and condition.
We also are one of very few locations to offer a Cimbasso for rent! The instrument is of very good quality and well taken care of. Rates are around $125 week (negotiable), you provide insurance and shipping.
