Out of the chaos of crisis, your gifts inspired and made music in a time of quarantine. I write to you to offer my sincere thanks and to honor your generosity as together we’ve weathered a year of challenge and growth. Your support has given TCO the means to continue to achieve its mission, even under the most challenging circumstances.

With your help, we’ve connected tradition with innovation and creativity with technology to enrich, enhance, engage, and educate our community through the talents of young artists and the power of live musical storytelling. Together, we’ve already achieved so much:

        • We put Binghamton on the map with the first-ever live virtual reality opera. Miranda used a team of 24 people (working safely in a pandemic) to reach a record-breaking audience and received press from Opera America, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
        • We highlighted and nurtured (and awarded cash prizes to) young talent as you cheered for your next favorite opera star competing in TCO Next, our very first online vocal competition.
        • We continued engaging thousands of young students throughout our region with Opera-Go-Round’s new digital educational tour of Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers.

Looking forward, we’re creating a new tradition with Cocoa and Carols, a cozy holiday special featuring TCO Alumni and streaming from our homes to yours on December 13, 2020, at 3:00 pm. In the spring, along with a new “Opera Book Club” streamed recital series, we’ll offer up live adaptations of Handel’s Acis and Galatea (a TCO premiere) and Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love.

I hope you’ll reaffirm your commitment to the sustainable future of TCO with a year-end gift.

There are three ways to give:
By Mail: Tri-Cities Opera, 315 Clinton Street, Binghamton, NY 13905
By Text Message: Send “LOVETCO” to 44-321

From my heart to yours and from TCO’s home on Clinton Street, I wish you the very best this holiday season and always.

Sponsor an Artist

Tri-Cities Opera brings world-class artists to work and often live in Binghamton. This is only possible through the generous support of our artist sponsors.

Host Housing

Being a host house for TCO guest artists is a beautiful way to support our local arts community and be a part of the creative process. Hosts have the opportunity to get to know guest artists from across the nation and make personal connections that often last long beyond the artists’ stay.
