Randy Messing

Baritone

Randolph Messing, is pleased to return to Tri-Cities Opera. He presently is an adjunct voice teacher/accompanist at SUNY-Broome. He is the Music Director at St. Mary’s Church in Kirkwood. He is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music and received a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Binghamton University. Mr. Messing was a graduate of TCO’s Resident Artist Training Program where he performed more than 20 leading roles. He has performed opera, oratorio, and musical theater in the United States and Europe. He performed the role of Escamillo in the original production of La tragédie de Carmen at Lincoln Center.
