Bass Marc Webster last appeared as the Bonze in TCO’s production of Madama Butterfly in the 2018-19 season. He has performed in opera and oratorio with companies throughout the United States, including Seattle Opera Studio, Wolf Trap Opera, Florida Grand Opera Studio, San Francisco Opera Merola Studio, Juilliard Opera Center, On-Site Opera NYC, Syracuse Opera, Mercury Opera, and Ithaca Opera. Recent Oratorio performances include engagements with NYS Baroque, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphoria, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Syracuse, Ensemble X, Juilliard Symphony in Alice Tully Hall, and Actus Tragicus. Recent University guest-artist performances at Eastman School of Music, Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, DePaul University, Wake Forest University, University of Texas, Cornell University, and Ithaca College. An active recitalist, Mr. Webster has recently performed with the New York Festival of Song, and The Song Continues Series at Weill Recital Hall. Mr. Webster was a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and holds first place awards from the Jessie Kneisel Lieder, Eastman Concerto, and Eastman Opera Competitions.
