Soprano Melissa Joseph is a hopeless romantic who’s excited to spread love this season through the magic of beautiful melodies. You may remember her as Sally from Stone Soup, but she won’t be serving up stones for Valentine’s Day, just heartfelt opera tunes to make your sweetheart swoon.
Mezzo-soprano Amanda Staub is a multifaceted performer of a range of operatic roles. You may recognize her as Monkey Queen and Lord Tiger in Monkey & Francine in the City of Tigers or from Tri-Cities and Annapolis Opera’s video production of Acis and Galatea. Look for her this spring as Tisbe in La Cenerentola (Cinderella).
Tenor Brad Bickhardt is an exciting and vibrant performer of the operatic and musical theatre canon across the country. He is excited to share in the love this Valentine’s Day through the gift of music! You may remember seeing Brad around Binghamton as a TCO Resident Artist this year. You can catch him in upcoming appearances with Opera Ithaca, Tri-Cities Opera, and Arizona Opera.
Baritone Robert Flora knows how important it is to share the love with that special someone! He’ll help you send your appreciation in the best way possible: with an aria! You may have seen Robert as Belcore in The Elixir of Love last spring. In the coming months, you can also catch him as Max in Stone Soup and as Papageno in Binghamton University’s production of Die Zauberflöte.
Pianist and Tri-Cities Opera Assistant Conductor, John Cockerill, knows nothing says, “I love you,” like a song. He’s excited to help you share the love with some favorite opera tunes! Part of the TCO family since 2018, you may have seen him on stage, in the orchestra pit, or at the podium for productions, concerts, and special events.
