DARYA NARYMANAVA

Darya Narymanava, Belarus-born mezzo-soprano, is an internationally acclaimed artist praised for her “vibrant fioriture,” “dark luster,” and “impassioned vocal presence” (San Diego Story). A Resident Artist with Tri-Cities Opera for the 2024–2026 seasons, she made her company debut as the Papagena/Third Lady in The Magic Flute. She has since appeared as Giovanna in Rigoletto and La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi.
 
In 2024, Darya received critical acclaim for her role debut as Dorabella in Così fan tutte with Opera Neo, following her 2023 company debut as Arbate in Mitridate, Re di Ponto. Other recent highlights include performances with Boston Conservatory Opera as Hannah After in As One, Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She was recently named a Semi-Finalist in the Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition and a 2025 Boston District Winner and New England Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, having also won the District in the 2022–2023 season. Darya holds a Master of Music and a Professional Studies Certificate from Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
