SEASON TICKETS

Get ready to explore with us as our brilliant artists prepare to transport you from a Parisian garret, through the jungles of Vietnam, to the bullfighting arena of Seville, Spain. Our 69th season promises “Opera for Everyone!”

  • We open in October with a single performance of Giacomo Puccini’s La bohème. Director JJ Hudson (Barber of Seville) and Conductor Vlad Iftinca (La traviata, Hansel & Gretel) ignite this timeless and passionate love story in a fully-staged, grand opera production.
  • Next, Director Cara Consilvio (Hansel & Gretel) and Conductor Joshua Horsch unite for the TCO premiere of Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied, poignantly dramatizing the plight of Col. Floyd James “Jim” Thompson, the longest held American POW during the Vietnam War.
  • The season closes with the return of James Kenon Mitchell (L’heure espagnole/Brettl-Lieder, Iolanta) to direct The Tragedy of Carmen. Peter Brook’s reimagining of Bizet’s famous opera includes your favorite music and the raw, condensed story of the ill-fated seductress, Carmen.

Your 2017-2018 Season Ticket package automatically includes the above three productions.  This year, we are also offering a Bonus Pack of TCO events. Complete your 2017-2018 opera experience by adding these three unique events to your season ticket package.
