FREDERICK SCHLICK ​(tenor) a Reading, Pennsylvania native, is a recent MM in Opera graduate at The Boston Conservatory. Frederick had the opportunity to be a part of every operatic production during his time at The Boston Conservatory. His most recent roles include: the title role of Tom Rakewell in The Rake’s Progress, Bill in Johnathan Dove’s Flight, Gastone/Alfredo cover in Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, and Don Basilio in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. A recent Brevard Music Center alumus and Janiec Opera company member, Frederick sang the role of Lysander in Benjamin Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with world renowned countertenor and Brevard alumus, David Daniels. Additionally, he undertook the role of Ethan Krusemark in the world premiere of Falling Angel. In the fall Frederick worked with Pensacola Opera performing in outreach productions, and had his professional debut as Young Jim Thompson in Tom Cipullo’s opera, Glory Denied.
