Performing Arts: Tasting Opera IV

Tri-Cities Opera's Tasting Opera gala fundraiser continues to be a highlight during each season. Now in its fourth year, Tasting Opera IV blends the elegance of fine dining with a lavish auction, and tops it all off with spirited live entertainment. Be sure and join us for a sumptuous culinary and cultural trip "Around the World in the Southern Tier". We have an exciting array of first class establishments and prominent companies lined up for this year's event. Last year's Tasting Opera sold out, so make your reservations soon!

FINE DINING: A delicious array of foods and beverages will be provided by some of the area's finest restaurants and establishments, including The McKinley, Moghul Fine Indian Cuisine, Crepe Heaven, Vestal Wine & Liquor, Laveggio Roasteria, Sake Tumi, Baked Euphoria, Sam's Club, Thai Basil, Liquor Town, Terra Cotta, Nezuntoz CafT, The Mad Moose Saloon, Marilyn's Bake Shoppe and many more.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Back by popular demand, the Scott Freeman Band & The Revival Horns will play their unique mix of jazz, swing and big band music. Attendees of last year's gala will remember the 10-piece ensemble keeping everyone on the dance floor well into the evening. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes! The Scott Freeman Band will once again be joined by some of TCO's own talented Resident Artists - Amanda Chmela, soprano, Julie Hamula, soprano, William Roberts, bass-baritone, and John Rozzoni, baritone.

LAVISH AUCTION: Whether it's a pearl necklace from Conti Jewelers, an overnight stay at La Tourelle Resort & Spa, a VIP ticket package from Glimmerglass Opera, a barbecue for ten people courtesy of Food Consultants, or a two-night stay at Greek Peak Resort, everyone can bid on something truly unique. Bidding takes place throughout the evening at Tasting Opera IV.

Tasting Opera IV will be held at The McKinley, 1701 North St. in Endicott, NY, from 7:00PM to 11:00PM. Reservations are $85 per person or $680 to reserve a table for eight. Call the TCO Box Office at (607) 772-0400 for reservations and more information.
